What we collect

Information you give us

When you fill out our application or book a call, we collect:

Contact details: your name, email address and mobile number.
Business details: your business name, website or social media handle, location, type of business, how long you've been open, approximate monthly revenue, the software you use, and your goals and challenges.
Scheduling details: the time you book and any answers you give in our booking form.
Messages: anything you send us by email, text or phone.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our pages, we and our partners collect some information automatically, including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the ad or link that brought you here (for example, campaign names in the web address), and the date and time of your visit. This is collected using cookies, pixels and similar technologies, described below.

How we use your information

To review your application and decide whether our service is a good fit for your business.
To schedule and hold your call, and send confirmations and reminders.
To prepare for your call and put together a proposal.
To contact you about your application by email, phone or text message.
To measure and improve our advertising, such as knowing which ads lead to applications.
To keep our website secure and working properly.
To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Text messages

If you check the optional SMS box and give us your mobile number, Black Box Digital LLC may send you recurring marketing and lead follow-up text messages, including call reminders. Up to 1 message per day. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. See our SMS terms. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help.

We do not share or sell your mobile number or your consent to receive text messages with any third party for their marketing purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf.

Cookies, the Meta Pixel and advertising

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. Our pages use the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms, Inc., which records actions such as visiting a page, starting or finishing an application, and booking a call. This helps us see which ads work and show our ads to people who are likely to be interested, including people who have visited our site before.

Meta may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information from our website and other websites and use it to provide measurement services and target ads. You can learn more and control how Meta uses this information in your Facebook ad preferences and Meta's Privacy Policy. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info, and block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Our website also stores a few items in your own browser (for example, your theme preference and your progress through the application) so the pages work smoothly. These stay on your device.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed for them to do that work:

Calendly, to schedule calls and send reminders.
Make.com and Google (Google Sheets and Gmail), to receive, organise and notify us about applications.
Meta, for advertising measurement, as described above.
Video hosting providers (such as YouTube or Vimeo), when you play a video on our pages.
Twilio, to send the texts you agreed to receive.

We may also share information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or merger of our business.

How long we keep it

We keep application and contact information for as long as needed to follow up with you and, if you become a client, for as long as we work together plus any period required for tax, accounting or legal purposes. We also keep records of any text-message consent and opt-out requests for as long as needed to honor them. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing contact@blackboxdigital.agency.

Your choices and rights

Access, correction and deletion: email us to ask for a copy of your information, to fix something that is wrong, or to have it deleted.
Marketing: reply STOP to any text, or ask us by email to stop contacting you.
Advertising: use the Meta and browser controls described above.

Depending on where you live, including New Jersey and other U.S. states with privacy laws, you may have additional rights, such as opting out of targeted advertising or appealing a decision we make about your request. To use any of these rights, email contact@blackboxdigital.agency. We will respond within 45 days and will not treat you differently for making a request.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including trusted service providers and restricted access. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
